Camden Market

This review is going to be a little bit different than my previous reviews because it's not only for one restaurant in particular, but 3 different stalls in Camden market, in which I got different parts of a meal (a main, a drink and a dessert).
Realistically, everyone in London knows what Camden market is, but for the sake of those who do not, I will be explaining. Camden market is a medium sized market based in Camden with authentic cuisine stalls from all around the world. They also have little clothes stores.
The Mains

For my main, I went to a Thainese stall. They didn't have many options but I was instantly intrigued by the options they did have. Fried rice, noodles, fried chicken balls and prawns? Count me in. I asked for the chicken balls, prawns and the fried rice. So basically: everything they offered other than the noodles because it'd be too many carbs for me to handle and not look pregnant after. The meal also came with an extra spring roll (cheeky, I know). I am very sceptical when it comes to rice and I know outside rice is never a safe bet. Sometimes you get extremely nice rice and sometimes the rice comes soggy with no salt. There is no in between. Surprisingly, the rice was actually extremely nice. The chicken pops were nice (would have definitely been nicer if they were a bit spicy though) and the prawns were full of flavour. The prawns definitely had a sweeter taste to them. For this whole meal, I paid £10.
Drinks & Desserts
To add to the previous topic of food, we ended our evening with a lovely dessert of churros. Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely love churros.

The churros were fresh and tasted like actual heaven. I had the Nutella stuffed churro. It's something about the cinnamon and sugar mixing with the Nutella ooooooof. They weren't originally going to put cinnamon on my churro but I asked. They reminded me of the churro summer stalls there are in Portuguese festivals. I also did try the caramel sauce with the plain churros but the caramel was too gooey and it definitely would have tasted better with Dulce de Leche.

I paid £4 for the stuffed churro.
My favourite part of all this was obviously the alcohol. Although very overpriced, Sangria just tastes like summer and this particular one was no exception. They even added the fruits in to make it "authentic" - Although I know sangria is just red wine and sprite with fruits.
This cup of Sangria cost me £5. I had already had Sangria from this stall last year when it cost £4 then but inflation I guess?
Overall I want to say I had a good experience. I wouldn't particularly go on a date to Camden market because there's nowhere to even sit other than stairs on the side of a pub and with the £19 I spent, I could have gone to Nando's. However, for a good experience with friends in the summer, it is a vibe.
